Mechanical Seals

Mechanical Seals are used for sealing pumps, mixers, etc., where a rotating shaft is passed through a stationary housing. These seals ensure no visible leakage of vapors. They come in modern designs that never damage the pump shaft or sleeve. With inboard springs of the seals, maintenance is reduced. They come with lightly loaded faces to ensure to consume less power. Contamination is reduced using these seals during operations as the lubricant is not affected by the seal leakage. Plant equipment and vacuum can also be sealed using these Mechanical Seals.
